Abstract: This paper deals with syntactic variation and change
phenomena Renaissance Spanish. This study has been carried out
within the Dynamic Syntax framework as it is a model that tries to
represent real-time structure building. I show that for these
morpho-syntactic phenomena, a processing explanation seems
most appropriate in terms of processing factors, such as
routinisation processes, and that the availability of different
processing mechanisms plays an important role in both the
synchrony and diachrony of Spanish clitic placement. .

Abstract: Linguistic research constantly tries to find the relationship between input and output such as cause and effect relationships. Since 1980, the study of Second and Foreign Language learning has developed at an alarming rate because it is now more common to be a bilingual speaker than it is to be a monolingual speaker. This presentation hopes to give a brief review of some important findings and how research has developed from an understanding of First Language Learning models basically applied to Second and Foreign Language Learning models. This presentation will touch on various issues in relation to Second and Foreign Language learning. It will also discuss issues of language transfer and effects of learning two languages simultaneously from birth. Overall, one of these important findings is that learning two languages from birth does not act negatively in the language acquisition of either language.
